Biking the Valley
Bicycles provide the perfect opportunity to get away from the main roads and to enjoy the attractive countryside the Medway Gap has to offer. The quiet rural lanes and scattering of bridleways and byways enable cyclists of all varieties to visit the area from neighbouring urban areas without the use of the car.
Valley of Visions is creating new, safe links that open up access opportunities into neighbouring areas and provide high quality off-road routes. Valley of Visions is currently developing a multi-user route that will enable cyclists to travel from Borstal or Strood through Cobham Heritage Park and onto Shorne Wood Country Park avoiding roads and on shallow gradient, surfaced paths.
