Training courses
Throughout the life of Valley of Visions a range of training opportunities are available free to local people. Courses cover practical conservation and land management, heritage and archaeology, creative arts such as music and art, training in community work and many more.
These bespoke training opportunities are a fantastic way to learn new skills or improve old ones and help to conserve the rich wildlife, landscapes and heritage of the Medway Gap and surrounding area. All training courses are free to attend for people who live within the Medway Gap area, or for those who are working, volunteering, or would like to get involved with other ongoing Valley of Visions projects. Details of training opportunities are updated here regularly and we try to make the courses reactive to training needs.
In partnership with Kent Wildlife Trust we also offer training opportunities through their popular Wildlife Study Days. Any courses in their 2010/11 programme may be fully funded through the Valley of Visions project. Please contact our office to see if you are eligible. Early booking is advised as places are restricted. See here for the full range of Study Days http://www.kentwildlifetrust.org.uk/our-work/wildlife-study-days/2010-programme/
Once we have processed your request you will recieve a confirmation email with the full details of the course. If you have any problems using our online booking form or require additional information please send an email to: training@vov.kentdowns.org.uk
